Apparently, at this years Cannes Festival, well respected agency Big Spaceship was not given the just amount of credit due for their role in the HBO “Voyeur” project.
Surprisingly enough, this isn’t a surprise. It is an industry wide problem that has existed for some time now that certainly needs to be addressed. Gone are the days where the huge- traditional-ad-agency conglomerate can receive sole credit for collaborative efforts with smaller digital/production agencies.
It is a sickening trend that needs to stop. If only, I could say our own agency has not been a victim of such trite behavior in the past. I can’t, so for now, just focus on the word “past”.
